Stripe + VERI*FACTU
Your Stripe payments, legally invoiced.
Stripe Invoicing is not VERI*FACTU-compliant. Connect your Stripe account and every payment gets an invoice here, with its record, chained fingerprint and tax QR. Nothing changes in your checkout.

The problem
Stripe does not issue VERI*FACTU-valid invoices.
Stripe's own documentation says it: Stripe Invoicing does not meet the VERI*FACTU requirements. Stripe receipts carry no invoicing record, no chained fingerprint, no tax QR. Invoicing with non-compliant software carries fines of up to €50,000 per year (art. 201 bis LGT).
How it works
Three steps, and the third one runs itself.
Connect your Stripe account
From Settings, via Stripe Connect. The account you already use for Payment Links, Checkout or Stripe Billing subscriptions works as is.
Assign a tax to each product
Each Stripe product maps to its tax treatment: IGIC rate, IVA, OSS or an exemption. You set it once and it applies to every payment after that.
Invoices show up as drafts
Every payment creates a draft for the exact amount charged. You review it and issue it from the list. A refund in Stripe creates the corrective invoice draft.
Auto-issue?
Optional and off by default. When you turn it on, it only issues when the result is safe: the amount matches the Stripe charge to the cent, a series is configured and there is enough customer data. Anything doubtful is held for review; an invoice that disagrees with the charge is never issued.
What stays the same
Your Stripe stays your Stripe.
- You charge into your own Stripe account, with your payouts and your fees
- Payment Links, Checkout and subscriptions work exactly as before
- You watch your payments where you always did: the Stripe dashboard
- Disconnect whenever you want; issued invoices are kept
Canary Islands
IGIC on your online sales too.
Stripe Tax has no IGIC concept. If you sell from the Canary Islands, your invoices must carry IGIC (0, 3, 7, 9.5 or 15%), not IVA. In CanaryFactura you assign the rate per product and every invoice comes out with the right breakdown. For EU consumer sales under OSS, the treatment is set per product as well.
